Door Location and Construction

Door Location - Not every door will work for every application. Choose the appropriate door location from the drop down menu for your application, and the Dog Door Selector will return the best doors to install. Door Construction - Our doors are made of 2 types of material: 1) Aluminum or 2) Plastic. Aluminum doors tend to be more expensive, but are also more durable and stronger than plastic. If you're not sure of your preference, simply choose "All" from the drop down menu. Flap Type - There are 2 types of door flaps available: 1) Flexible or 2) Rigid. Rigid flap are made from either plastic or a double walled insulated aluminum. The Flexible doors are plastic flaps. Some doors, for example our Hale pet doors, have 2 flaps, with provides superior insulation to single flexible flap doors. If you're not sure which flap to choose from , simply choose "All" sfrom the drop down menu.
